Is the surfskate boom still going strong?
It depends on the market. In Spain and Portugal yes, but in the UK, I think the boom hasn’t happened yet, at least sales aren’t reflecting a boom so far. A very interesting and growing market is Italy.
What are the main products in demand in the segment right now (completes etc)?
Yes, completes are the thing.
What are the “stars” right now. Products you couldn’t live without?
The 33” inches are very strong.
What are the main features on your surf skate completes?
We are using a single kick concave deck with 8plys being the top and bottom which gives it not only an added strength, but also looks amazing.
What kinds of trucks and wheels do you offer for this segment?
We offer 6.5” MCD® (More Core Division) trucks with 60*45mm PU casted 82A MCD® Wheels.
Which technical features are you the proudest of?
The environmental protection glue.
What are you doing with materials and tech next season?
We designed a new hanger for the MCD® trucks to be inline with the longboard trucks look.
What are your main price points for next season?
Both 30” and 33” at £150/€155
