What is your collection theme and which stories are you telling to get customers stoked on socks with a boardsports flavor?
We came back to our basics releasing a new collection of Mid High socks and enlarging our signature collection with several new prints inspired by tattoo culture and japan with a summerish flavor.
What general trends are you noticing?
Socks is already a really saturated market and we’re seeing a lot of e-commerce based brands which offer a wide range of socks, unfortunately their lack of design makes American Socks pop out with colorful illustrations.
How are you helping retailers sell your socks and educate customers (POS displays, etc.)?
We are offering a wide range of POS displays and a lot of merchandising like Neon Lights, Rugs, License Plates, Cardboard Displays and more for free. Each customer gets a good amount of stickers too!
What are your main price points for next season?
We’ve seen a lot of brands coming up with an updated pricing due to inflation and production cost going up. At American Socks we stick with the same pricing and markups for retailers. 14,95€ for our Signature Series and 11,95€ for our classic collection.
Which technical features are you the most proud of? Anything new to talk about here?
We started adding recycled Coolmax into our production.
