What is your assessment of the 2025 business: new impetus, cleared old stocks, sounder growth, better quality products ?
We are very pleased with the year 2025. We had a great season and received very positive feedback from the market regarding our products. We have therefore decided to build on this momentum by launching our new SUP range, incorporating more advanced technology. For the boards, we chose woven drop-stitch construction, which is lighter and stiffer. In addition, we have included a fiberglass paddle with added carbon in the package to increase responsiveness.
Do you favor segmented distribution channels? (entry-level allrounders via online D2C and sports chain stores, advanced models for core retailers?)
We distribute the Coasto brand both online and through resellers and physical stores across Europe. The current Coasto range is quite sport-oriented while remaining accessible. It has been designed with more advanced technologies and materials (such as carbon and woven dropstitch, for example). We believe that the in-store customer experience is a key element when choosing a Coasto SUP package. In addition, the packaging has been designed so that all technical specifications as well as the design are directly visible.
Which are your key inflatable models for 2026 in the Allround/Cruising segments?
For 2026, we decided to refocus the new range on the Regent 11’8 model, which features a sportier shape, and we chose to offer it in three different designs. We selected an ultra-rigid woven dropstitch construction and included a hybrid fiberglass and carbon paddle, as well as a “Clip-In” fin, in order to deliver a true gliding experience. We also developed the Flip models, which are more focused on versatile use, and we offer them in two sizes: 10’5 and 11’5. This model also includes the same dropstitch technology and paddle construction. We designed the board so that it can be folded lengthwise before being rolled, in order to reduce storage space.
Which Specialty iSUPs are growing/decreasing in 2026 ? (Race & Flatwater, River, Fishing, SUP-Kayak, SUP surfing…)
We observe that highly specialized iSUP models are declining, as most users today prefer boards that can serve multiple purposes. For example, a race-focused board may perform well in flatwater but is less practical for other conditions. Versatile, all-round boards are clearly becoming the preferred choice.
Is innovation stalling or did the SUP reach maturity regarding designs and constructions?
It is true that over the years, SUP products have become increasingly refined, and the most effective technologies are now well established. Yet, we continue to see noteworthy innovations, even if they are more subtle. In terms of design, innovation remains dynamic, driven by evolving market trends. This constant renewal challenges us, as manufacturers, to continuously adapt and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
How can you help retailers make a difference when most SUPs are at a click’s range online?
We help retailers stand out by creating unique in-store experiences: hands-on demonstrations, expert advice, and personalized support. We also provide dedicated online support to assist stores during the busy season. In a world where SUPs are just a click away, these tailored experiences and strong community connections encourage customers to choose the store over online options.

Regent Signature 11’8:
The Regent is a high-end board designed for the most demanding riders. It features a woven dropstitch construction, multiple handles, front and rear cargo bungees, and a double-layer EVA deck pad. The board is also equipped with a pressure-regulating valve and a clip-in fin system that allows for quick installation and excellent rigidity on the water. The accessory pack includes a hybrid fiberglass and carbon paddle for high precision, a reinforced wheeled bag, a double-action pump, and an anti-twist coil leash.

Coasto Flip 10’5:
This slightly more progressive model is designed to be lightweight and compact. Its design allows the board to fold lengthwise, optimizing storage space. The board is equipped with a pressure-regulating valve, which increases its lifespan. The construction technology used is woven dropstitch, and the paddle is also made of fiberglass reinforced with carbon. This model features a slightly more all-round shape, offering great stability while maintaining excellent water contact for a smooth glide.
