What marketing stories and themes are you telling in your Outdoor Apparel line for SS2021?
At Voited, we envisioned a brand dedicated to avoiding the depletion of natural resources by creating eco-friendly products from ethically sourced raw materials. With this in mind, the marketing stories are about escaping the daily life looking for adventures in the outdoors.

Further, we collaborate with inspiring and passionate people, artists, athletes, and innovators who make us want to get out there and live our dreams. One of our marketing principles is to integrate consumer-focused content into the mix to engage and share the brand experience with our audience.

What are the most important technical features & materials?
Using materials typically found in premium outdoor gear that is lightweight, breathable, water-resistant, quick-drying, and made to last. We design for movement, to keep you comfortable on all your adventures. At Voited, we are committed to minimizing our impact on the natural environment and creating the most eco-friendly products possible. As the main fabric of our choice, we choose Ripstop REPREVE®, a state-of-the-art fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

For our line of prestige jackets, we have taken the technology of a vintage army and outdoor fabrics to the next level. The Alpha fabric is made from long, densely woven fibres of 100% cotton yarn. This unique fabric structure with a polyester-based Alpha membrane and a mesh layer also absorbs any moisture that leaves your body and retains it until it has passed through the fibres, keeping you dry.

All our fabrics use the addition of TeflonTM EcoEliteTM finish to enhance the water resistance. TeflonTM EcoEliteTM is the first renewably-sourced, plant-based, and non-fluorinated fabric treatment for durable water repellency.

How has Covid-19 affected your SS21 sell in plans?
A more flexible distribution chain, integrating consumer demand into our design and marketing program to be more responsive to consumer trends. This is supported by a manufacturing process using a small batch production method, that will allow us to launch more seasonal, trend-oriented product lines with interesting and relevant stories to interact with our consumer target.

– ALPHA V-HJT1 WATERPROOF JACKET: Lightweight, fully taped, storm-proof hooded jacket using a unique Alpha fabric structure with a polyester-based membrane and a mesh layer that absorbs any moisture that leaves your body and retains it until it has passed through the fibres, keeping you dry. Full Body Tape Seam for added dryness.

How is Covid-19 impacting your business and can you see any opportunities for the Camping market as a result of the pandemic?
Covid-19 has changed the tourism industry, people are now more concerned about their environmental impact and are more inclined to travel locally, especially younger travellers. This means an increase in camping and living in a van. Our products fit perfectly into this new trend.

What are the major trends in the camping segment in spring/summer 2021?
Utilitarian, lightweight, and environmentally friendly building products. Many consumers, dreaming of the outdoors and aware of the plague of pollution, escape the city for new adventures. To do so, they need more functional and versatile products that they can use both at home and outdoors.

Where have you positioned your brand in the market and why?
From our adventures, we came to know what is really important and what is not. In the development of our products, we incorporate only the best and most useful features. Recycled ripstop on one side & luxurious CloudTouch fleece on the other. The CloudTouch is a very high quality brushed knit, soft and fluffy. The overall effect is similar to that of real sheep’s wool, but our CloudTouch lining is lighter, much less bulky, and dries faster. At the core of our Voited Pillow Blanket is a three-layer construction, we use 100% recycled 3D featherlight fiber insulation, a super breathable and warm micro thermal filler insulation. Add to this our recycled REPREVE® Ripstop outer fabric, treated with TeflonTM for better water resistance, and you have a super versatile blanket that will quickly become your best outdoor accessory.

– VOITED OUTDOOR PONCHO: The use of Ripstop Repreve fabrics and TeflonTM coating provides a water-resistant outer shell.
